This residence, delivered for one of Australia’s state governments, provides safe and comfortable accommodation for children in out-of-home care that blend seamlessly into average suburban surroundings. Thoughtfully planned with a focus on dignity, independence, and accessibility, the sleek, modern home includes four spacious bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. One suite is fully self-contained, featuring a kitchenette, lounge area, and workspace, designed to support greater autonomy. The home also includes a double garage, high-quality fixtures and finishes throughout, and a generous backyard, creating a secure, welcoming environment tailored to the needs of its residents. To date, we have delivered 13 of these residences, each responding to a distinct brief and resulting in a unique outcome. While constructed economically using standard domestic materials, these have been applied in thoughtful ways to create robust, low-maintenance finishes suited to long-term use.
