Manna Lake Resort

Location: Victoria, Australia

A boutique resort, with accommodation for up to 14 people just outside the main centre of Daylesford. The project’s buildings are spread out across the large site, with a wellness centre set amongst the dense vegetation, conference centre and hotel rooms overlooking the lake, entertainment pavilion and associated tennis courts for sporting events as well as a 3 km walking track around the perimeter of the site, taking you through the dense native vegetation and along the edges of the large on-site lake. The design draws inspiration in it’s materials from the native colours of the site, using charred timber, Corten steel and stone. This allows the architecture to assimilate with the natural setting, and is purposely design to frame views and capture moments when one walks through the buildings and surrounds.
