Chatsworth Park, Tabilk, Victoria

Location: Tabilk, Victoria, Australia

An unusual project where a Chinese company purchased a former horse racing stud farm for conversion into an international resort and accommodation centre.

The client subdivided the land into thirteen components, twelve 50 hectare blocks for housing and the remainder of the site including the existing house to be converted to a resort. Caulfield Krivanek Architecture was commissioned to design four of the 1,500 sq m homes and the resort conversion of the existing house.

Each house was to have a different theme; Australian Colonial, English Country, Spanish Hacienda and Kentucky Stud. The project also included the preparation of marketing material for overseas dissemination.
