Dubai Pearl, Dubai

Location: Dubai, UAE
The ‘living city’.

A dynamic and environmentally sustainable composition of high-rise buildings that symbolise diversity, unity and efficiency, publicly conveyed through a tranformation of visual expression. The design outcome incorporated urban public spaces that used the surrounding buildings to create ‘fields’ in which to house communal activities. Within these ‘fields’, materials, scale and design detail were used to shape the ‘living city’ identity.

Situated on the mainland overlooking the Dubai Palm Jumeirah, the Dubai Pearl combines architecture, engineering and wonder in a truly unique building.

A multi-use development dubbed as a “24-hour city”, incorporating luxury residential apartments and hotels – including the 5-star Baccarat Hotel, retail and entertainment spaces.
